πŸ“ Staff and volunteers will welcome and engage you in activities!

  • WPEC’s free, family-friendly events bring community together in a natural park setting to promote wellness, environmental learning, and stewardship.

  • At 3:00 pm we’ll gather around a wellness fire for guided breathwork and grounding exercises (like those used in Yoga) leading into the Fall Equinox celebration with the wonderful music of sound bowls to foster wellbeing and community. You may stand or sit. Bring chairs, blankets, or use our picnic tables.

  • The event concludes when we gather in the open-air Pavilion for refreshments and food.

  • We are in the Credit River – Hungry Hollow ravine, rich in biodiversity. So, when we collectively act to help and protect this local ecosystem we impact on many living critters and their survival and often see them as we tend to projects! You may also like to explore signing up for our Take Action Thursdays (4-6pm). SEPTEMBER IS a wonderful time to get moving more outside.
